Erm, does anyone know if services are running on the DC today? TFL/LOROL sites mention no planned closure or other service update, however journey planner does not offer DC line services as an option on DC line routes... If indeed the journey planner is incorrect, this would not be the first time, I just wondered if anyone could confirm as clearly I don't want to be presumptuous and then mess up my NYE plans!
Thanks in advance

The DC has been running quite regularly today - from what I've heard, when they've gone through!

A Saturday service, according to the timetable leaflet - but there is no mention of any later-than-usual trains tonight, though - which is unusual.

Neither London Overground nor its predecessor Silverlink Metro have ever operated any late trains for New Year. It seems National Rail assume most revelers come from south of the river as most late services go south.

For many years there was a later DC train at 0057 on the 1st Jan for returning revellers though this ceased when the LU services went over to all night running.

And because of that, those of us who live on the ELL south of the river have no additional late night services.
