I know it's pretty late in the day, but TfL's website is showing Severe on the Vic due to adverse weather. Any idea why? I'd have thought if the problem was getting trains into the depot then the service would be suspended as trains couldn't get through to Seven Sisters?

Remember that operating staff (including Train Operators) have to get to work. If they can't get to work, the train doesn't run..

There were 9 trains cancelled yesterday afternoon and evening because of Train Ops not available.

There were 9 trains cancelled yesterday afternoon and evening because of Train Ops not available. In that case surely the reason for the delays should be non availability of drivers not adverse weather.

In that case surely the reason for the delays should be non availability of drivers not adverse weather. The non availability of drivers was caused by the adverse weather conditions preventing drivers from getting to work. So in theory, both excuses are valid!
