How do clawlock points (the ones at SMD) work?

BUMP.
I'm still curious as to how these points work - given that most of the remaining pneumatic points in Section 12 areas are being replaced with Surelocks (for the eagle-eyed, Surelocks are in use for the new crossover at Wembley Park), why was it decided not to use clawlocks again?

As an aside,the test Surelocks on 503pts in SMD are being replaced with a standard TPM model on the weekend of 21st/22nd April.

south ken (the set which takes it to gloucester road either by the circle or district) is going to get a set of M63 type points very soon not surelocks
