John Polley has pulled of a fantastic double a 2 page article in Metro yesterday and on the London ITV News tonight with his Abbey Road layout.
Nice one John great to get good publicity like this for railway modeling, especially when it is of the Underground.

Apparently, the Abbey Road station is based on the Abbey Road industrial estate in Park Royal, not the famous one in St Johns Wood!
When he was a tube driver, he used to look down on the north circular road from his train going over the bridge.
Come to think of it, there are two tube lines that cross it, the Piccadilly line and the Bakerloo line, so he must have driven on one of those two!!
