A day in London

Good evening folks,

084 passing Portlaoise on Friday 19th November with the Long Welded Train from North Wall to the per way depot in Portlaoise.

On Saturday I spent the day in London. The pictures are divided into two collections. The main reason for the trip to London was to take part in a Network Rail test of the proposed Javelin Olympic Shuttle service from London St. Pancras to Stratford International. Over 500 people took part in the trial and the pictures from the event are at thewanderersirishrailphotos.fotopic.net/c1918168.html

The 2nd collection features photos from the rest of my day in London. There was two must do things on my agenda photograph the east end Central Line Sandite Train which uses a 7 car 1962 stock train and get some photographs on the northern extension of the East London Line at Dalston Junction, Haggerston, Hoxton and Shoreditch High Street.
Other highlights from the trip include:
-Travelling on and photographing the new Victoria Line 09 stock.
- London Underground Ballast Train at Mile End.
