Many parts of London South of the River only enjoy a 30 minute interval service for most parts of the day. To be honest I don't see it being much of a hardship.

Not as bad as the bad old days, which started from 2030 through to end of service, we are now looking at:
0537 / 0607 / 0637 / 0657 then every 20 mins until 2137 / 2157 / 2227 / 2257 / 2327 / 2357 from Euston 0511 / 0541 / 0611 / 0641 / 0701 then every 20 mins until 2141 / 2201 / 2231 / 2301 from Watford
This will operate Monday - Saturday, though watch out next May for an improved Sunday service.

Oh how wonderful for my company to make the earliest trains run later then they do now, Does London Overground realise that there main depot is Willesden and do they also realise that the majority of their traincrew are also based at Willesden? It is bad enough when you have a start at 05.40 that is 9 and half hours long, making these trainms run later means that for most to now get to work on time will require getting up an hour earlier and to allow that extra hour as traveling time to get to work. I wonder if Mr Tim Dunning who i belive through reading some of threads can persuade those that have done this timetable to at least keep the current first trains at the same time they are now.

User groups are bounced back and forth between LOROL and TfL London Rail Keith, but I believe that Mr. Tim Dunning and his friends are reponsible for the cut-backs. The trend for first trains to be later and last trains to be earlier started back in January. Now it appears that the standard off-peak frequency is to be every 30 minutes where TfL London Rail think they can get away with it.
Officially TfL London Rail policy is still' "tube stlye services with earlier first trains and last trains after midnight". Ask if the policy has changed and there is no answer. Somerset Chris predicted service cuts and it looks as if they are happening.

Whilst the reduction is going ahead, it would not be a bad idea if LOROL extended their working day slightly. We need an 0507 and 0027 from Euston and an 0441, 2331 and 0001 from Watford. Then they might be a little more like the rest of the TfL family with more reasonable starts and finishes.

Just checked the tfl travel planner and noticed an odd thing.. South Kenton to Willesden Junction 10-12-10... 05.25 LO then 05.34 BL South Kenton to Willesden Junction 13-12-10... 05.31 LO then 05.43 BL Seems even the BL are slightly running later on the first run..

Yes it is true that there are some reductions in late evening and early morning services on the DC with the frequency dropping to 30 mins after 22.00 and before 06.30. This is a ‘value for money’ adjustment that has been decided at the highest levels in TfL in response to the general squeeze in public finances but overall there remains a respectable increase in frequencies across the LO network. TfL did much better out of the Comprehensive Spending Review than expected but make no mistake that fine tuning is required if we are to remain within the revised and very tight cost allocations. One day we will match the tube, but that day has just been pushed to the right somewhat. There is nothing that TfL can do if the money is not there other than try and be as fair as possible to all. There will of course soon be 3 tph on Sundays on the DC from the December timetable change, so it's not all doom and gloom.

I supposed it has been decided at the highest level in TfL because most of them will still be in bed and probably didnt know that some staff get out of bed at 03.30. The fact that none of them will be getting a train at 'these' unsocailable hours made it all the more easy.
