South of Wembley at Neasden, 5mph speed limit in place, trains backed up, 421 sent back into the depot ex HOH.
Messy.

Ouch, sounds like a fun day ahead for some Back on track by evening peak?

There was also some issue at North Harrow today, but it obviously cleared up quite quickly.

There won't be much of an evening peak due to the Strikes! The Met could really suffer this week!

According to a poster at HOTH the track is going to be repaired overnight.

That's a good idea, it not like they'll be any trains!! ;D Bearing in mind there is a strike, it's not likely there will be any staff! ;D ;D As for the problem with the points, the Southbound service got absolutely slaughtered this morning. It didn't matter how many trains my colleague took out of service or diverted, they just kept backing up and getting later and later until he withdrew the stepping back at Aldgate to try and make up some time for the Northbound journeys. Credit to all the Met T/Ops who got on with it regardless.

;D ;D Oh the luxury of annual leave. I will take heart that perhaps I'm not a jinx and the railway messes up fine without me. Another glass of wine I think ;D ;D
