'lo folks, Just been watching iPlayer, a prog about women's roles in the first half of last century. It's here, and at about 14 mins and 38 seconds in, a train scoots past in the background - v brief and only a quick glance. What is it? It certainly looks electrified. Here are a couple of screenshots - MRFS reckons it has the feel of Watford Joint stock. Any ideas?

Very similar looking windows, however they all seem to lack centre swing doors.

Looks like the LNWR's own 'Oerlikon' stock to me (so right line) - two three car units: 1st still in LNWR 'plum & spilt milk', 2nd repainted in LMS maroon, maybe?

The location stood out as very familiar to me, the stock is not 1920 Watford Stock as it has no centre doors to the cars but is most certainly Oerlikon stock in two liveries at the time after the grouping of 1923. The location is confirmed a few frames later when the footbridge comes into view and the sub-station on the extreme right of shot. The row of railway cottages flanked the rear of the goods yard at the time the whole site now redeveloped. The row of trees line the road which gave it's name to the station provided out of shot to the right. The sports grounds were the property of the LNWR, LMS and BR(LM) and are still in use as such.
The location is Headstone Lane, just to the north of the station on the down side.

Oerlikon/Siemems sliding door stock one in LNWR livery and one in LMS. I would take a guess at somewhere around Kew/Richmond

They certainly look that way from what little I know about them.
