Hi
Currently doing some research on the C&SLR carriages ( Seeing i have been doing some work on one of them), from what i can see there 4 still around.?
Anyone can give me some pointers to how these carriages got saved.

One at least was used as a holiday home. Many old railway carriages/tramcars/buses ended their days as such or as sheds and workshops.

So the LT museum has one, there are two at Coventry, and the LURS had three?

The two at Coventry are ex-LURS.
The LURS only ever had two.

there is a one stored at private site, on the carriage survey. Which makes the number up to 4
