My main interest is the Midland & Great Northern Joint up in Norfolk, with its works at Melton Constable. As some may know, Melton manufactured concrete signal posts from 1915 for itself and others. I have seen two photos of concrete posts on the Metropolitan, one in the Railway Magazine of Feb 1921, and one on this site (it was a brain teaser question). Does anyone know the extent of concrete signal posts on the Met (or any other LU line) and if there was a link to Melton Constable and William Marriott who designed them? If not, did the Met make them at Neasden?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the MET had a concrete works, possibly at Neasden.
