I found the closure of the Jubilee Line this weekend a bit complicated, and possibly ambitious sounding.... Currently closed between Stanmore and West Hampstead, and suspended between Green Park and North Greenwich
Minor delays on the rest of the line...
There isn't much of the rest of the line left!
"Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October, no service between Stanmore and West Hampstead. Also, no service between Stanmore and Waterloo before 1100 and again after 2100 Saturday, and before 0800 and again after 2100 Sunday. Rail replacement buses operate.
Service C (Saturday): between Stanmore and Wembley Park, calling at Canons Park, Queensbury and Kingsbury.
Service C (Sunday): between Stanmore and Stonebridge Park, calling at Canons Park, Queensbury, Kingsbury and Wembley Park.
Service D: between Wembley Park and Finchley Road, calling at Neasden, Dollis Hill, Willesden Junction, Kilburn and West Hampstead (extended to operate between Swiss Cottage, St Johns Wood and Baker Street before 0900 and after 2100 Saturday, and before 0800 and after 2100 Sunday).
Journey times may be increased by up to 45 minutes.
Suspended between Green Park and North Greenwich due to operational problems. Minor delays are occurring on the rest of the line."

I think you will find that most of todays problems stem from Train Operators refusing to work normally due to the Fire brigade strike. Thats why they are only running Stratford to North Greenwichat the moment.

What a shambles yesterday.
Quite how the service turned into the mess it did I do not know. Either the drivers/unions didn't warn management, or management ignored them.
Either way it shows utter contempt for the traveling public by one or both of the parties.

Trains are running from Green Park to West Hampstead Was true - only drivers on the Stratford to Waterloo bit seem to have an issue with the fire strike, those who worked in the Green Park to West Hampstead area didn't have the same issue? Local depots with different opinions or something?

Two of our most ''modern'' lines Jubilee AND Victoria both out of action totally. The message is to you pasengers ''Wanna travel with ease around this great capital? Well tough''

I would guess that most passengers use the Tube during the peaks Mon-Fri and don't venture forth onto the network at weekends. Like it or not, it's the commuters who stump up most of the dosh fares. Engineering possessions during the Monday a.m. peak, anyone?
We may grumble about lines being closed during weekends, but if there's a practicable alternative, no-one on this forum has yet suggested it.
