I work near Paddington and just off Praed Street there is the entrance to the Bakerloo line. The entrance is just a staircase and looks like the building that used to be the was demolished (?) I've tried to search online for a photo of it but can't seem to find anything. I notice it has tiles on the side similar in colour to the Leslie Green stations. If anybody has any photos or information on how it used to look that would be great. Thanks Adam Here is where I mean on Google maps maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=paddington+station+bakerloo+line&ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=51.5159,-0.207882&spn=0,0.175781&z=13&layer=c&cbll=51.515958,-0.174947&panoid=dPnptMrRzoNaRqwaOU2PJg&cbp=12,296.3,,0,6.3 And here is a closer look maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=paddington+station+bakerloo+line&ie=UTF8&hl=en&layer=c&cbll=51.516032,-0.175052&panoid=58mVmGmldbrd_E_A3fbLLg&cbp=12,238.78,,0,17.64&ll=51.515965,-0.174958&spn=0,0.001725&z=19

It certainly has looked more-or-less like that for the last 40 years!

From what I can find it looks like it was designed by Stanley Heaps.

Drifting slightly, but I was on Paddington mainline station Tuesday lunchtime during the heavy rain. There were buckets everywhere catching leaks and at least two dozen guys struggling to sweep away the excess water. Seems like the roof is in bad shape.

Well without all the rubbish blue tiling and a much more ornate entrance...

Restoration is well overdue!
