I'm just wondering why when I'm entering Ashford I always see Overground stock stabled in Ashford sidings?
Isn't that a bit far?

I'm just wondering why when I'm entering Ashford I always see Overground stock stabled in Ashford sidings? Isn't that a bit far? This is new class 378 stock undergoing commissioning. The stock is delivered to Ashford for DC commissioning and mileage accumulation (each unit has to have a certain amount of fault free miles before being accepted) before heading to London for the final AC commissioning.

232, 233, 234 are the ones down there.
Though it has been reported that at least one of them may of moved to New Cross yesterday.

I think 378/1's although I can't be sure, was a couple of weeks back. All 20 class 378/1s are in service on the East London line. 232, 233, 234 are the ones down there. Though it has been reported that at least one of them may of moved to New Cross yesterday. I don't see why New Cross would need more than one (as a replacement for 378201, which went to Willesden). 378233 should have finished its testing by now (it was delivered in early August), so why isn't one of them at Willesden? Also, when should 378255 - 7 be delivered?
