Data request in connection with a train-sim route... (This information is needed so that I can accurately model some gradients in the route.)
i) Does anyone here know what the clearances under the two bridges at Finsbury Park are?
This is so I can set some gradients up properly on that section of a route.

i) Does anyone here know what the clearances under the two bridges at Finsbury Park are? The bridge over Serven Sisters Rd can clear Double-deckers and is,I believe plated at 15'6" (I SHOULD know this,I go under this bridge most days)... The Bridge over Stroud Green Rd is,in fact, several bridges as the tracks are separated by platforms, and they are different heights. I seem to recall that the lowest is 14"....not enough to clear a Double-decker,as bus drivers find out,to their cost.every now and again. If you want more info, let me know, and I'll pop over there this evening and get the exact data for you.

The basic problem is that in re-surveying my Beck Line route I found some things didn't work unless I put it on Viaduct up the western side of Finsbury Park ( and substantialy altering the disused platforms there) The bridge clearance figure was needed so that I had a rough idea of how steep the embankment and cutting down into 'tube' tunnel towards Nags Head needed to be. Currently, assuming a 12 m drop (i.e the 6m from the viaduct to 6m below ground level) (the tube portal being 'roughly' underneath the intersection of where ValMcKilmer Avenue and Stacey Street are in reality) I get a gradient of about 1 in 48, which although tight is comparable with other 'metro' type operations. North of Finsbury Park, the Beck Line route IS effectively the Northern Heights route (which I understand has already been made for OpenBVE.) South of Finsbury Park, I'm still looking into

I just rode past these bridges on my way to the apiary, and they are as follows: Stroud Green Road 12'9" (!!!) Seven Sisters Road is a series of bridges, too, though they are all more-or-less the same height. The bridge set is unplated which,I think, means that there is at least 16' freeway over the whole width of the road.
