Out of interest what are the rough waiting times for a T/Op transfer to one of the following?
Rickmansworth Uxbridge Neasden Wembley Park
Cheers for any advice.

Met depots are at Neasden, Harrow-on-the-Hill and Rickmansworth.
I transferred to Neasden last October having waited about 10 months, although the list was moving quite quickly at the time due to a number of t/ops deferring when they got to the top of the list, and the need to take on more t/ops in readiness for the introduction of S Stock.
Rickmansworth is a matter of years, don't know a precise figure, but it is probably set to increase as more of the older generation retire and younger drivers take their place.
Harrow opened at the end of last year with a full complement of drivers (nearly all of whom transferred from Neasden). It is set to expand later this year with priority being given to existing Metropolitan line drivers, after that is anyone's guess.
The general feeling is that the introduction of S Stock will lead to a massive influx of Jubilee line t/ops who live on the Met line corridor but were previously put off by the big scary A60s. ;D

I'd say to anyone wanting to transfer anywhere with a long waiting list don't be put off by that. Apply anyway and you have plenty of time to consider the move. If it is eventually offered and doesn't suit at the time you can always decline. That's a much better way around than wanting to go somewhere but not applying because you think you might never get a place.
