Had a surprise at Wembley Park last weekend, as the carriage sidings to the north of the station were full of C Stock trains. Just wondered if this is a regular occurrence? The Met was shut south of Wembley due to engineering works, so I assume this was something to do with it.
Also, as an aside, I remember catching C Stock trains in service from Baker Street to Wembley Park, usually after a skinful in London. I don't suppose this still happens does it?

And within hours of arrival last weekend the C Stock next to the southbound fast road had been seriously 'artistically modified'. I think they were shipped up to Wembley for stabling because of the fire at Barking.

C stock do not run in service up the Met anymore, mainly because Hammersmith deals with all their servicing. Its nice to see them on the Met once in a while.

The Met was shut south of Wembley due to engineering works, so I assume this was something to do with it. This was as a result of the cable fire at Barking, which ended up with C stocks all over the place. There was also one in Neasden Depot and 3 at Upminster.

While not condoning the 'artists' or their work I thought that, as graffiti, 'Breach of Bail' was rather wry and pithy, in contrast to the mindless tagging one normally expects. THC

If they're in the confines of a depot next to the running line where trains, with observant drivers, pass every few minutes, how do they get to the stage where they can be 'seriously artistically modified'? I'm aware that any reply must be made with care for security concerns, giving info to the wrong people, etc. but are there no security guards/cctv who would be made aware that there were extra trains in attendance that must be kept an eye on?

ATO issues on the Jubilee prevent C's from passenger service to an extent nowadays.

It doesnt seem to matter weather the trains are parked in depots or on the tracks. With the vast amount of security depots and sidings consist of they always get in and out doing their work. This has been done and is being done on every system in the world. Its part of every subway system. I guess we just have to put up with these scoundrals. In my opinion as long as no one gets hurt or loses their lives I am happy. We are all part of a family and have loved ones.

If the doors are an issue, what about a mini-cascade - 1972 for the W&C, 1992 to IoW.

They were modified before they got there I guess - when they were stationed where they stopped when the Traction Current was having issues after the Barking file?
