On an impulse, I signed up on the TFL website for an Oyster card and stuck £15 on it as prepay.
It then occured to me that I have a Young Person's Railcard, I get all-zone tube day travelcard for £4.70, the same price as an off-peak zone 1-2 day travelcard.
Seeing as Oyster doesn't know I have a YP railcard, and I can't seem to find anywhere on the Oyster website where I can tell it I have said card, is there any way I can make sure I don't pay any more than the £4.70 I usually pay?
Thanks in advance...

Thanks in advance... The short answer is no. Oyster is purely underground only. There are no facilities available in connection with anything not related to tfl. If you wish to continue using your YP railcard, you will have to buy the travelcard from the ticket office which will issue it on magnetic paper stock.
