Top work, with what looks to have been some painstaking delicate work done.
I wouldn't fancy doing the paint work, so good luck with that!

Nice job Metman. I see you've chosen the Circle Line version with the luggage compartment removed and replaced with a small guard's cubicle. This makes it post 1935. Will you do a nice 5-car train with 1905 and 1921 stock in it? I wonder what it would look like in Underground red.

I was thinking that. It will be LT red. I was thinking of going for a five car train composed; 1913 DM - 1921 T - 1905 DT - 1921 T - 1913 DM.
There is a 1921 trailer at the manufacturers now. I'm going to make a 1905 DM and T (which can be made into a DT with the addition of lights and a shoebeam) for next year, although the varnished teak will be tricky to paint.
I'll be putting up a couple of photos of this car when it's done.
Thanks for everyone's kind words.

I'm going to make a 1905 DM and T (which can be made into a DT with the addition of lights and a shoebeam) for next year, although the varnished teak will be tricky to paint. I have done some LNER stock from kits, and the teak is not too difficult with the Precision Paints system. You put on a coat of light teak paint fairly evenly. When it is dry, use a stiff brush to dry-brush a darker teak paint in the direction of the grain. I had to practice first on some plasticard! Best of luck with your lovely models.
