Was travelling to Bank on the Central EB on monday, only to find that at St Paul's the t/op announced that the train would not be stopping at Bank and that passengers should continue their journey from street level due to escalator problems.
When I arrived at Bank there was a rapid response unit and an ambulance outside. Anyone know what was going on?
Also on the journey home later that day the DVA decided to announce Holborn as Bank, which sounded rather strange!
"The next station is Bank, change here for the Picadilly line"
EDIT: also, on another note I noticed at the bottom of the Central Line platform stairs at Tottenham Court Road there is a very old map with a dodgy paint job covering the Ongar section. I'll try and get a pic for those who don't know what I'm on about.
