I know of some alternative routes which can be used during the H&C closure between Edgware Road and Hammersmith shortly, however I don't know them all.
Here's what I know:
Paddington (H&C): District/Circle/Bakerloo to Praed St. Royal Oak: Central to Queensway. District/Circle to Bayswater, 36 bus from Paddington. Wood Lane: Central to White City Shepherds Bush Market: Central or Overground to Shepherds Bush Hammersmith (H&C): District or Piccadilly, then a short wakk.
The ones I'm most interested in are Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park. (I know there is the replacement bus, but I don't fancy an extra 30 mins on top)

Likewise Westbourne Park station is pretty much on top of the bus garage of the same name from which there are over 20 buses an hour to Notting Hill Gate station!

It's not like the area isn't underserved by bus routes with plenty of alternatives to get to Central London at least.
I envision the patronage on the number 7, 18, 23, 28, 31, 36, 70 and 328 will significantly increase.
I guess the only issue is getting to/from Hammersmith and Latimer Road but this I gather will be remedy by the rail replacement buses and the use of other bus routes from Central Line stations.
Lancaster Gate is only a short walk from Paddington, for people who wish to get to Shepherds Bush (and beyond) from there.

I notice that Wood Lane is not being served by the replacement buses and passengers are expected to use White City on the Central instead.
I'll be using the Central on Monday, so it'll be interesting to see if there's an increase on there too to get to Queensway for Royal Oak and White City for Wood Lane.
