Proceeding south from Wembley Central, there are points immediately before Stonebridge Park. LU trains seem to fly over these at close to normal speed whereas the 313's take the points much more slowly. Just wondered why.

The trains on the up are also approaching a station stop at which they will stop at. The 1972 Mk2 stock has the ability to stop pretty well on a sixpence if handled right and therefore will run in at a higher speed. The class 313 stock on the other hand won't stop as well and with the drivers adhereing to the LO defensive driving policy drive acordingly. If you are ever present when a 313 runs through empty on clear signals, stand well back, as they can move well when required.
