This is one of several shots taken by a magazine of road transport from Holborn Viaduct around 1963. Can anyone suggest which way up or down Farringdon Street the view is? There seems to be a tube station in the background on the right. gmhistory.chevytalk.org/abh434.jpgCloseup: gmhistory.chevytalk.org/abh434a.jpgNote the The Victoria bar/pub! I wonder which junction that was on? Excuse the large sizes please but I thought that they needed to be of sufficient size to be perusable.

I bet that's looking north from Holborn Viaduct... See Streetmap linkThe station could be Farringdon adjacent to Cowcross Street

Brilliant, thanks! The West Smithfield corner building features in photos that are in the series. Is this view of Farringdon Street facing south from the north side of the Viaduct? gmhistory.chevytalk.org/abc123.jpg
