Before I shell out the big bucks to purchase it, does it show both western branches--or only the one to Ealing Broadway?

Are you referring to the Video 125 DVD? If so, it is highly recommended. It shows the Ealing-Hainault section, then Leytonstone-Epping, and finally Epping-Ongar. All filmed on the 1962 Stock [1960 stock with a 1938 Trailer on the Ongar branch]
Video 125 are re-filming the Central Line next year, featuring ALL sections, on the 1992 stock [stock in present use]

The current V125 one does NOT show the Ruislip branch - only Ealing Broadway. It is very good (and atmospheric withe the guard and the old stock). The new one coming will be the other direction and will do the Ruislip branch.
There are also some newer 225 Studio ones - no commentary to speak of that show the Ruislip branch. The one I have is called "Central Line - Woodford to West Ruislip (Return Journey)" It has, obviously, both directions. Filmed in 2002 and is 114 minutes.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the insight. I just ordered a DVD on Ebay showing the whole of the old East London Line from an A stock cab. My next goal is to order the one that shows the "old" Bakerloo--service to Watford and Stanmore on 1938 stock.
