Ah - I went looking for this last week. It got turned back at Rayners due to a possession in Eaking Common yard. It's picking up load weights for S Stock testing.

When a Met took the wrong signal at Rayners last year, I wanted it to go to South Harrow to reverse back to Rayners but the Picc refused saying there were restrictions on A stock all down that branch! Someone must have got their finger out!

Someone must have got their finger out! More like someone got their list of permitted stock workings out. A Stock was never restricted. It was D stock that was restricted (because of D stock "stiff primary suspension" and that has now been lifted (finally catching up with the fact the "stiff primary suspension" had been removed years ago) in any event D stock had been running up there for years notwithstanding even though it was, then, not on the permitted route list and even had a timetabled path to do so.
