The engineering work that has closed the line from Gospel Oak to Stratford is due to be completed today, but we all know the tendency for these things to overrun! Is the line expected to fully reopen tomorrow?

Is the line expected to fully reopen tomorrow? Supposedly yes, though First London will have their buses on standby in the morning just in case - you never know! Martin

It looks like it's running but several trains are cancelled. I have to use it today to get from camden road to finchley road.

Looking at the NR live departure boards at Canonbury, all Stratford trains are cancelled but all Richmond's are OK?!?

Yeah I noticed that. They'll run out of trains eventually

Is there a reason why the new timetable has the journey from Hackney Wick to Stratford down as 6 to 9 minutes, when it's actually 3? Is it so that it's unlikely the train will ever arrive 'late' by adding in some slack?

All seemed OK today - seemed strange running on the northern pair of tracks between Dalston Kingsland and Highbury though!

I dont think there was any delays or cancellations, certainly not this morning when i was at work. It could have been gliche in the screens and the live update. For a start the departure screens at Richmond were still showing the trains terminating at Gospel Oak.
What it does go to show is how quickly people get into a routine in their travel arrangements on the train i was working 4 people got off at Kentish Town West, 2 at Camden road and a lady asked me at Cally Road does this train stop at Brondesbury? What had happen is we arrived into platform 2 at gospel oak as one had just arrived on platform 3 and quite a lot of passengers assumed we was the Richmond train.
Running through seemed to have caught out a lot of passengers today.
With regard the stations the only issue i suppose is the lifts are not quite ready and stopping at Cally Road as an island platform is very strange indeed.

A lot of ill-informed and purposely negative roumour was being spread by a particular semi-moribund (more like semi-extinct! ;D) User Group to the effect that todays deadline would be missed. Nevertheless, the NLL reopened with a minimum of problems considering the amount of work done in such a short period of time. There is, of course, still a lot of work to be done and almost everything will be finished by November save for the signalling transfer to Upminster which should happen by the end of March 2011. The insertion of the fourth coach into the Class 378 units will happen toward the end of the autumn when all the platform extensions and some other minor associated works are completed.
