Gwen is a little handmade carriage that MRFS42 found on eBay, a clerestory directors' saloon at 16mm/foot. We are revamping her. I have made some seats and curtains! (Being a gurl.) The curtains are mounted on card which will slot up under the windows on the inside. The chairs and bench have a frame of balsa (original owner's design). What do people think?

Almost G scale! looking good. Have to ask, is it destined for indoors only?

Thank you! The eventual destination is www.llechfan-garden-railway.org/ - in the gardens of the volunteer hostel of the Talyllyn Railway. MRFS already has a loco for the line which I saw for the first time at Easter. 'Gwen' really is a gorgeous little thing seeing as she was scratch-built. I love the fact that the clerestory roof is designed to come off so you can get inside. We've had fun refurbishing her and I'm really looking forward to seeing her trudling around Llechfan. I'll put up more detailed pics when she's all finished!

Very nice, Angel. Tell me there is no truth to the rumor that after you made these that MRFS made curtains for his loco! I also appreciated the link to the Talyllyn Railway.

I can confess that I've made curtains for one of the real locos on the Talyllyn; chintzy floral jobs too they were.

Sounds first class. Don't let any of the engines hear you say "it's curtains for you"...

Top job! Great practice for 'Hobbs Lane' too!
