I understand that Sydenham, Penge West and Anerley have had the New Johnston treatment, however Forest Hill only has the direction signs added to the brand new footbridge which has recently opened.
No changes to Brockley, Honor Oak Park and New Cross Gate, bar the one sign on platforms 1 and 2.

What about [Southeastern] New Cross? Is that remaining under their control/signage? I haven't seen any evidence of TfL sweeping in there; it's just like New Cross Gate (the latter having only fairly recently been spruced up by Southern).

New Cross is still under Southeastern management and has the new SE signs, even on the LOROL platform.

Honor Oak Park got the treatment yesterday - black writing on orange background. Not the easiest to read - I far prefer the one at NXG.

Noted today at New Cross Gate -
LO signs in place but are 'stickers' over what are assumed to be permanent signs. The ones on show today have black on orange lettering with a small Overground logo to the left. A close-up peek of one of the signs shows that what is underneath has an orange (LO) band at the top - will all be revealed on 23 May I wonder?

You may have unwittingly looked at the one sign that was changed in mid April to the white with stripe style sign while all others remained Southern green. I may be wrong but I thought the black on orange is being used for those stations not being immediately refurbished, which explains why Forest Hill retains its Southern green signs given it is supposedly the first to be refurbished, presumably obtaining either white with stripe or perhaps full roundels.

Incidentally FH already has LO direction signs on the concourse and on the new bridge, which may prove your theory that the station will probably get roundel signs instead of the orange film over the Southern signs. Incidentally, there is a stage 3 in the refurbishment of the Sydenham line stations which commences in August.

Last Friday (7/5), I was passing Norwood Junction southbound, and I saw one LO-branded sign on a platform (similar to signage at Barking/Stratford/Watford)

Forest Hill received the orange vinyl signs overnight. Both New Cross Gate and Forest Hill had painters at work this morning - looked like they were painting metal things (lampposts and seats) grey.

Asked at West Croydon and Norwood Junction if they would be able to top up Oyster from May 23rd and was told they would not, so who knows how long the offices will remain open on the southern ELL if they won't be selling the tickets people want.

Southern Railway still provide the majority of services from those two stations, so they'll still do a trade in paper seasons and to stations outside London. Incidentally the TVM's at both stations are Oyster ready.
