In response to a request made on my Alternative Railways site, I've been trying to find out if 1959 or 1962 stock ever wore the corporate red/white/blue livery, as on the EFE model. So far much searching of the net has revealed no evidence that they did, other than the recent rail adhesion train repaint in white and blue without red doors. Thanks, Paul

Paul,
I believe that one 1959 stock unit (can't remember which number) had a trial refurbishment and was painted in Corporate livery.

Yes I remember the Northern Line 59 stock in LU livery. I was about 12 at the time on a visit to London from Ireland. We were going from Camden Town to East Finchley when this 59 stock in corporate livery burst out of the tunnel. I was delighted to travel on it, Also caught a glance at the heritage train but didn't travel on it during that trip.
