I can't even figure out what's going on in this picture, never mind where it is!

There are no correct entries thus far, and this picture hasn't been modified in any way......

Well... if it isn't Cockfosters, it would have to be Seven Sisters. But the typeface looks wrong for Seven Sisters (and right for Cockfosters)...

It will help if you think of the whole picture as a single, unmodified photograph - because that is what it is.

An artwork exhibition somewhere... not Gloucester Road, though.

An artwork exhibition somewhere... not Gloucester Road, though. Correct! It isn't Gloucester Road. However, the line from which this location is does run through Gloucester Road....

Well researched, the picture of the left is of Cockfosters, but the picture on the right isn't (I didn't note where it is) but they are part of the Platform for Art exhibition that was at Heathrow Terminal 4 when I took the photo in February 2008.

Good stuff, I didn't think that one would go for a while!
Now, why was the location chosen for that day?

It did indeed open on 12 April 1986, was it the only London Underground station to open in the 1980s?

Several DLR and LO stations opened in the 80s, but H'row T4 was the only Underground station I think.

The Bakerloo service was restored between Wembley Central and Harrow and Wealdstone on 4th June 1984, does that count?
