Isn't this the first weekend in what seems to be an eternity that the Circle/H&C service is fully running, along with the Met having through trains, especially between Uxbridge and the City?

It is (although, not obvious to the outside world, both services were operating to special timetables to take account of altered District Line services). But in essence, it is the first time such services have operated since the introduction of the new SSR service patterns.
The next weekends planned for fully normal timetables are the first 2 weekends of July. That said, I have heard that these will probably not occur as they provide a suitable window to commence (the postponed) works on platforms 3 & 4 at Baker Street - currently rumoured to be pencilled in for June/July.

So there we go. So that means the next opportunity we see to run both lines on a normal timetable is the first 2 weekends of October ;D And there's still time to plan stuff to stick into those weekends ;D

It wouldn't surprise me if the revised July plan changed again, never mind October.
It's only late March after all !!!

I'm sure that the weekend before Christmas (i.e. the weekend following the one that saw the introduction of the new service pattern), saw a full normal service operating on the whole of sub-surface, the only complete weekend* during 2009 when this was the case. * The Sunday following Christmas also had a full normal service but the Saturday, being Boxing Day had a special service.

Yes, I believe you're right, and will use the excuse that I didn't take over the timetables etc. in our room until very recently, and had not kept records that far back ;D
