Evening folks,
In two or three books I have, reference is made to a different company (from the Metropolitan) being formed who built the Ham & City. What was that company called?
Thanks!

According to C Awdry Encyclopaedia of British Railway Companies, the Hammersmith and City Railway (what were you expecting?), authorised 1861-07-22, opened 1864-06-13. dissolved and line vested jointly in the Met and GWR 1867-07-15 (Act of 1865-06-19).
