I had nothing to do so I got my Lego bricks from my cupboard and realized an idea wich grew for a long time... But see yoursef :-) First, the bogie, my own construction, because the default Lego bogies are to high for a tube train Here the bottom side were you can see the bogies rising into the car body They're hidden quite well Now the interesting pictures: The front The whole car The interiour (where you also can see that you dont see the bogies :-) Checking the shape Having some bricks left, i tried to build a C&SLR loco from 1890... So, take your bricks!

So, here is Part II, a padded cell At the beginning, there was a bogie again. It's a little bit shorter, than the 38ts bogie, but it'S at the expense of stability and height... Here's the side the whole car the interiour (I had to remove the roof) The C&SL Train And side-by-side with the 38ts... The 38 looks quite big besides the C&SL doesn't it?

I spend so much time trying to build detailed models of Underground trains from Radley Models kits, EFE and others. To see something like this is truly refreshing as it shows how a different approach can be, if anything, more rewarding for the person who built them. These are Lego masterpieces f84 and you should be very proud of them. I love them!

The attention to detail is superb. What did you use for the rails?

Very good! Even down to the four rails!
I tried making the kids a Routemaster with Lego to varying degrees of utter failure.

What did you use for the rails? The rails are the default 9V lego rails, which had been availeble in Germany from 1991 to 2006. The power rails are also from lego, they originaly belonged to a crane.

Is there a lego AI to go inside it too?
Fantastic.

I just build the 38ts in Lego Digital Designer, a free Software from Lego, running on both Windows and OS X. You can download the file here: www.mm-trains.de/felix/diesunddas/l38ts/38ts.lxf ,open it with Lego Digital Designer, and order the needed bricks from Lego,if you have enogh money... an 8-Car-Train coasts about £850 :-( btw, I'm working at a new version with better bogies and I try to get it motorized, but it's a very difficult project...

Will the 38ts be appearing at the forthcoming Acton open day.... I captured a few photos of the CO/CP stock Lego model at last years event can be found in the modelling section of my LU/TfL site. Excellent stuff

I try to get it motorized, but it's a very difficult project... I was just about to ask how you'd get it moving without pushing it ;D Looks fantastic! Mine's nowhere as good, and looks like a C stock with the doors of a 95ts and a rear end solid enough to resist Hiroshima and Nagasaki simultaneously

But the C&SL loco is already motorized, there was enough space :-)

I had those plastic rails. They ran with the twin centre rails from the old system. Still got some old bits somewhere. Good stuff!
