I think the signs on the mainline station describe them as "Underground" and "Hammersmith and City Line". Does it mean that the H&C does not belong to the Underground ? A bit confusing for tourists arriving from the West... Well anyway, tourists arriving from the West should not have reasons to try and go to Hammersmith, should they?

Well anyway, tourists arriving from the West should not have reasons to try and go to Hammersmith, should they? Why do you say that? Certainly for places west of Reading, it is quicker to get to Ealing Broadway via Paddington than direct (can also be cheaper), so getting to Hammersmith (for example going to the Appollo) is quicker to take the H&C from Paddington.

Praed Street doesn't totally have a roof and Bishops Road is under a road so has a "roof".
Anyhow, the two Paddingtons were combined into one interchange symbol on the September map, so that tells you that nothing will happen as they are now "one" station.
