Found this on London Reconnections... On a related theme, at the 3 Feb TfL Board Meeting Ian Brown stated that the resignalling of the North London Line during the forthcoming blockade will not now go-ahead and Network Rail will have to undertake this at a later date (it was intimated that this would be sometime after the Olympics).
Oh God help us....

Which part of the resignalling isn't going ahead. They can't rebuild the section between Camden Road and Dalston without some form of resignalling, as the track layout will so different from old one.
Replacement of the signalling on the rest of line can of course be delayed. The original plan for the resignalling was that it would happen after the Olympics anyway, in 2013.
