Track goes live traction current early next week - Monday night I think it said - but points remain /effectively/ as if plain lined and can't be used for normal running until re-signalling (there is no equipment behind them in the V-frame, will only have control under TBTC).

One 1996 Stock train has already been into platform No.3 at Stanmore. This was under an engineers weekend posssession to test OPO equipment and took place on Saturday 31 October 2009 using units 96048+96079. The points were worked locally and were secured for movements over them.

Yes, I should have said live normally in Traffic Hours, I am aware of Engineering Hours / possessions work.

Will platforms 1 and 2 be renumbered? At present platform 2 is the one adjacent to the sidings and will mean platform 1 is in the middle giving platform 2, 1, 3 arrangement.

The new platform will be 3, out of sequence with 1 & 2
