Roger, do you now the date when the photos were taken ? Not really sure and I don't want to mislead anyone but I would guess around 1996-7, unless anyone knows better? Cheers Roger

Sorry for bumping the thread on this one - but does anybody have details of the Tamper that is sitting on its own in the picture? I know what kind it is - just wondering if anybody knows what happened to it?

Not sure, did see a tamper stilling at Northwick Park on Saturday evening in connection with the engineering works. Perhaps the same one, or one of that batch?

Not sure, did see a tamper stilling at Northwick Park on Saturday evening in connection with the engineering works. Perhaps the same one, or one of that batch? It may well be one of a batch. The only reason I ask is because one of the batch happened to go past the window whilst I was in a meeting! According to the notes it was used in the Construction of the DLR and also for the sidings on the Jubilee Line Extension whr.bangor.ac.uk/2002/tamper191002-2.jpg at work at it's new home. Looks strange on 2ft track!
