Has all sign of British Museum Station from surface level disappeared? Is there not even the smallest sign it was ever there? Has anyone from this site ever been into the station and looked around?

The site of the station building is now a Nationwide. It's on the North side of High Holborn, a little bit diagnoally west of ModelZone.

Odd, but I was only looking through some ghost station stuff yesterday! This is quite a decent site: Clickety click

Speaking of ghost in LU British Museum, i found this on another site: Soon after closure, a national newspaper offered a cash reward to anyone willing to spend the night in the abandoned station, since the platforms were believed to be haunted by the ghost of a mummy from the nearby British Museum. It's believed that nobody took up the offer...

Speak to the Nationwide and LU, see if our next forum meet could be there - I'd sleep down there

Nice one, SE, I enjoyed that Londonstuff - without platforms and with pedestrian access tunnels now filled in, I'd like to know how we'd get down there! ;D

Done Aldwych - Down Street, or even Holborn's disused platform(s), would be preferable

I'd join South Kentish Town during running hours.
