A single part question today but a couple of bonus points available, one for working out why this location was chosen for today. *Click image for a larger version*

I think those lights are from an underground station with massive curve. Bakerloo embankment, isn't that kinda gappy?

Lights are from Westminster (JLE).

Westminster - ceiling of interchange passage from Circle to Jubilee. Inset: Inset still open plus the reason why the location was chosen.

Lights are from Westminster (JLE). I'm incredibly impressed you got that - I didn't think anyone would!

Nope, it's much closer to Westminster than Harrogate. I chose it solely because it is a picture that has a lot of grass in the foreground.

The JCB in the background reminds me of recent works happening in Hyde Park?

At the time I took this photograph there was a building site adjacent to the park and (I think) some renovation work to paths etc, the JCB is almost certainly part of one of these. It isn't as close to Westminster as Hyde Park is though.

Clapham Common?
Westminster was chosen because that was the day that Parliament returned to business after the Christmas recess (pure guess!).

You guessed right about why Westminster was chosen, but wrong about the location of the background.

If my geography is correct then it's further away from Ealing than Battersea is
