Wonderful stuff. I remember Dave Havill - after training, he approved me for booking clerk in 1965, and Alec Gorton (not Alex as on the film) approved me for training as Relief Clerk in 1968. There was also a brief shot of Harry Farquhar who approved me for training as Traffic Controller when he was Divisional Superintendent in 1972. If ever the devil cast its net .....

What a great find. Believe it or not, I met all of those instructors in later years. Alex Gorton was the author of Motorman Percy etc. and became head of the D & P. Dave Havill became Training Manager some years later. I think Harry Farquhar was head or deputy of the Met & Bakerloo division when I was on the Met. The stock shows the operation of a GEC button type deadman which has come up from time to time on this forum. The door engine works much the same today.

I have assumed that by Lambeth they mean somewhere in Lambeth (Bakerloo) depot?? What happened to it all, where did the lever frame and model railway go? The rolling stock looks like pre-1938 stock (I'm no expert on this )

I have assumed that by Lambeth they mean somewhere in South Lambeth (Bloo) depot?? What happened to it all, where did the lever frame and model railway go? The rolling stock looks like pre-1938 stock (I'm no expert on this ) The training centre was above Lambeth North station.
