I would like to see a diagram, to compare it with historical ones. If it goes ahead!

being that was my ex stomping ground before i moved depots to the west of england, and now retired to sw france, can someone tell me where the connection is? i thought it may be at the end of platform 1,taking away the blocks and connecting to the lu. also, have they also put in a connection at upminster from the romford single line?.i take it these connections have been put in for gbrf to gain access with metronet trains? many thanks, keith jackson ,ex ripplelane pathfinder,br

i thought it may be at the end of platform 1,taking away the blocks and connecting to the lu. Not quite - the connection is from the platform 1 track to the eastbound District, but it's at the west end of the station, between the bay and the through platform. also, have they also put in a connection at upminster from the romford single line? It was started but has since been abandoned owing to procedural complications with the single line from Romford & depot working within Upminster depot, and further disagreements over the moving of line side infrastructure. LU and Network Rail were unable to come to any agreement on a way forward and so it was abandoned in favour of the link at Barking. Works did get advanced on the LU side with part of the necessary points installed, but the physical connection to the Romford line was never completed. i take it these connections have been put in for gbrf to gain access with metronet trains? many thanks, keith jackson ,ex ripplelane pathfinder,br Yes indeed
