Still the last two days to solve as I present the single part question today. There is a bonus point for working out why this location was chosen for today. *Click image for a larger version*

I remember one of these at High Barnet. I don't THINK it's Chalf & Lat but that's a poss too. I'll try High B.

I found reference to rebuilding in 1959 - could this be the anniversary of re-opening?

22nd November was an anniversary, but not of the station (re-)opening. The station name is most significant in this case.

Station has been re-named a couple of times - anything to do with that?

Re-opened on 'four-tracking' (quadrupling) with four platforms?
22nd November 1859: Darwin's "Origin of Species" went on sale to the public. He had previously spent some time recuperating at Dr. Edward Lane's Hydropathic Establishment at Moor Park in Farnham, just west of Guildford because of the strain of writing.

Not dates per se.
It's quite a complicated answer that does involve a milestone and numerals........ I can't really give much better clues without giving it away.

My final suggestion then is that it is a mile marker near the stone entrance to Moor Park Mansion. Does it have '22' and '11' miles in Roman Numerals for distances?

Again, not what we are looking for, however the Roman numerals puts you on the right track......
The quiz in it's current form has been running some time now............

XX II or II XX or XX X1? I have no other idea apart from a possible clue in the 'running': Moor Park 10k races? Runners are advised to take the Metropolitan Line to Moor Park and leave the station on the Sandy Lodge Lane side. Also perhaps something to do with 'Chiltern Harriers'?

The only important part of the station is its name.
