i was travelling up and down the Met and heard there was a quite a lot of problems today
*Faulty Train somewhere between Rickmansworth and Amersham *Signal failure at Chalfont & Latimer suspending services between Rickmansworth and Amersham Did that affect T776's Schedule?
I also noted two trains at HOTH going for Northwood (is this a regular thing) *5234 T443 10:10 *5229 T445 10:15

I also noted two trains at HOTH going for Northwood (is this a regular thing) *5234 T443 10:10 *5229 T445 10:15 Both of these trains are Watford services. They were either so late or out of turn, that the decision was probably made to turn them short with a possible reform at Wembley on the South. Or it could possibly have been to do with the trouble on the Amersham road that additional trains were already on the Watford road. The usual Northwood reverser is (if memory serves me right) 464, which detrains at Harrrow, empty to N/Wood to reverse, then empty back to Neasden depot to stable.

Chiltern train had sat down earlier and it was in Rickmansworth South Sidings when I went by mid morning, some trains had not entered service as 23 road also still occupied and delays were occuring across the Met as a result.

A Chiltern had it's brakes lock up part of the way into ricky platform which was awkward as a lever then wouldn't go back into the frame so I couldn't reverse anything north to south hence me shunting a train into 23 road. Incidently the Chiltern train was uncoupled in South sidings and ran back to AY as two units

Just to confirm it was a Chiltern that was faulty not a Met train.

There were many problems this evening. My 2103 train from Northwood was a reversed Watford train. My mate waited 10 mins before his train left Uxbridge. He waited 10mins for the train to arrive!
I had a great driver on the journey to Harrow. Top man, it was like I was flying BA! Making up time was mentioned. Legend!
