I've just joined the forum and am looking forward to picking your collective brains. I have been building the BR Chiltern lines in MSTS - both the line to Banbury and the other to Aylesbury. My route is based in the steam era around 1960.
It also involves a considerable amount of LT track. As I am sure you know the BR line from Marylebone to Banbury runs alongside the Met and Bakerloo (now Jubilee) lines between Finchley Road and Neasden and then alongside the Central from Northolt Junction to West Ruislip. It also passes under the Piccadilly line at South Harrow tunnel.
The Aylesbury line continues paralleling the Met and Bakerloo as far as Stanmore Junction, where the latter splits off to Stanmore. From Harrow-on-the-Hill to Amersham, BR and the Met share the same tracks.
As far as the LT portions of my route are concerned, I have put in the Met from Baker Street to Amersham as well as the branch to Uxbridge. The Bakerloo runs from Baker Street to Stanmore. The Central is modelled from West Ruislip to Hanger Lane and the Piccadilly from Park Royal to Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.
Since the timeframe of the route is 50 years ago, there were a lot more signal boxes around than nowadays and I need some help in tracking down pictures of some of them. If anyone can let me have useable pics for modelling purposes of the following boxes, I would be very grateful: Baker Street (Met), Finchley Road, Stanmore, Uxbridge, Wembley Park, West Hampstead and Willesden Green.
I have suitable signalling diagrams for the Metropolitan line from Harrow to Amersham, the Bakerloo (Jubilee) along the whole of the stretch I have modelled and the Piccadilly between South Harrow and Rayners Lane. I do not have any signalling details for the other LT lines in my route or the section of the Piccadilly between South Harrow and Park Royal. Again, any help anyone can give me with this will be much appreciated.
