Hello eveybody. I am new to this forum so I appologise if I have started this thread in the wrong place. As my subject says:How it all works?
Are there any links/diagrams etc to how the H&C/Circle line works as in, everything from where the electricity comes from to power the tracks, everything about the tracks (what wires/cables power it including photos and diagrams). Power/sub stations. The train protection units ie , everything on the tracks which protect the trains, which stop the trains incase of an emergency. The signals, where power comes from and what the cables look like. The trains functions ie, what parts connect to the tracks and what the parts are used for. Basically a beginners guide to a full in depth of how it all works to give a full understanding of the H&C/Circle line and its operation. Something which after I can put the puzzle together and can have a full understanding of the system. Photos and diagrams of all parts/tracks/signals/wires would be essential to the understanding. I travel on these lines everday and have done so for nearly 20 years and can honestly say I am clueless about how it all works. I see weird things on the tracks from white bits sticking out to yellow boxes, silver boxes,4 sets of tracks (2 live with wires going into it). It actually (to me personally looks great,I love the steel and wires and everything that comes with it) but... I just do not understand it all. Id love to be able to travel the line and think to myself or tell a work collegue that thing over there does that or that is used for this etc etc. It will make my exciting travels on the H&C line much more exciting then it allready is.
