A few ex-BR (by BREL?) Class 25 locos were offered to LT for use on infrastructure trains. These shots show a trail on the Met. 25306 was loaned and ran to Rickmansworth and Uxbridge Sidings at least on 17 December 1981. The LT Museum has several shots:

I think a photo appeeared on the front cover of an Underground News, taken at West Harrow? Rumours at the time suggested that these lcoos were pretty clapped-out, and that 'BR' wanted too much money for them..£100K was mooted but may have been spurious.
