A is Ealing Common. Not sure about the others.
The second inset in D looks like the Thames bridge at Clifton Hampden - somewhere in Oxfordshire, at least?
The first inset in D is a splendid example of English Perpendicular!

D looks like a Bakerloo station north of Queens Park.
Judging by the wall and positioning of the S stopping mark, it can probably be narrowed down to the northbound/down platform at either Kensal Green, North Wembley or Kenton.
I'm going to take a random stab at North Wembley.

You have A, B and C but not D, the insets nor the odd one out, so plenty still to go at. Station A: Ealing Common - view through rear cab window of 1938 stock [Chris M] Station B: Bromley-by-Bow - view west [Chris M] Station C: Ruislip Manor - exterior [Chris M] Inset: Station D: Inset 1: Inset 2: *Click any image for a larger version*

Harlesden it is, but which station is the odd one out and why? Also, the identity of the insets in D are still to find.

Is Harlesden the odd one out having only one LU line, the other three stations having two LU lines running through them?

Is Harlesden the odd one out having only one LU line, the other three stations having two LU lines running through them? I think that's true, and although it's close, it isn't the answer we are quite looking for.

Harlesden is served only by tube stock and not by sub-surface stock.

Harlesden is served only by tube stock and not by sub-surface stock. Has anyone mentioned London Underground sub surface stock?

It's not to do with the trains.
Colin, while that is part of the answer, it's not everything we're looking for.

Is Harlesden the only one not staffed by LU?

I think that's true, but the answer is unrelated to staffing.

Is it to do with the names, Harlesden having one word the rest two or more words?
