I'm wondering about B being Regents Park, with a possible "Park" connection.

Not too shabby - between you, you've correctly identified three of the four stations and three of the seven insets, unless any additional correct answers were sent to SE13 by PM. The link isn't to do with parks, and so remains to be found. Station A: Finsbury Park - Oyster reader in passage to bus station [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Background: Ronda gorge, Spain [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Station B: Still to identify(click for a larger version) Inset 1: Still to identify (click for a larger version) Inset 2: Still to identify (click for a larger version) Station C: Leytonstone - High Street end of subway [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset 1: Still to identify (You have had roundhouses previously, but nothing from this location) (click for a larger version) Inset 2: Doniford Halt, West Somerset Railway [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Station D: Clapham Common - rear of help point on platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset 1: Rex Prism, Salisbury Cathedral [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset 2: Still to identify (click for a larger version) Inset 3: Tower Bridge [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

B is Swiss Cottage. Now you have all the stations identified, you should find it easier to work out the link between them (Finsbury Park, Swiss Cottage, Leytonstone and Clapham Common).
Inset 2 in picture D is on the Isle of Wight, but it's not Blackgang Chine.

Shanklin Chine then? Are they the Appleby Steps?

Let's try King's Cross Met for B, it looks so familiar.
There were not too many stations left with the old patterned tiles carrying 55, Broadway, the county symbols etc Though the two in the image appear to be reproductions as the originals would've been yellow I am inclined to think it must be one of the stations that carried the originals.
Oops, ignore this late guess, that'll teach me to update the page before replying. Interestingly Swiss Cottage was my original thought but I opted for St. John's Wood as I really couldn't recall it being done up but then I haven't been to any stations now for almost 5 years!

The only suggestion that I have about a link is with regard to alternative entrances? ???I was going to suggest subways but that is clearly not the case.

Subterranean and street-level entrances? Not sure if FP has a subway though! East and west entrances? Can pass through one side of the ticket hall to the other?

It isn't different levels of entrances - all Clapham Common's entrances are at the same level for example. It's not the positioning of the entrances, nor is it ability to pass through (you don't pass through at Leytonstone for example)

Well done, Alnwick Castle it is. Just the rest of the link and the location of the roundhouse to get now I think.
