Does anyone know exactly what this particular document contained? This is the often-quoted source for the 'Extension to Aldwych' rumours...

London Reconnections has just put up some of it, obtained by FoI requests Here's where you can see all the posts on the subject. Bank-Aldwych-Charing CrossBow Church-Hackney Central Underground as the old line has been built on All Saints-Crossharbour via Wood Wharf Lewisham-CatfordGreenwich-New CrossStratford-Tottenham HaleThamesmead Not from Gallions (despite Thames Gateway Bridge still being on the agenda) but rather from near Woolwich. 4 more to be put up tomorrow morning - watch this space. Because of the fact and fantasy thing, I've started a thread on the fantasy board. Maybe the moderation/administration team would like to clarify what would be allowed in this thread? Discussion of these official plans for their suitability but no alternative plans? Or because they are fantasy, albeit TfL fantasy, everything to go on the fantasy boards? I have posted this here, so that those who read the DLR stuff, but not the fantasy stuff, can also be part of the action - not try to hijack as conspiracy theorists and admins may think. Edit: here's a rough map of the proposals so far:

Admin response:
Fair enough for the original question to be posted here. But, as surmised, most of these ideas are unlikely to see the light of day, especially in the current climate. So the place for further discussion is indeed in the 'proposals.....' board (Personally I hate it being called the fantasy board since many suggestions are actually quite reasonable but unfortunately still will never come to fruition). Good that the link has already been provided above.

The newly released Mayors Transport Strategy briefly mentions the Bank-Victoria DLR extension on page 128... mts.tfl.gov.ukThe report mentions double-tracking Bow Church-Stratford, the Dagenham Dock extension, and "further scope to extend the DLR network in the longer-term to provide better links to Stratford, improved orbital links and connectivity in the Thames Gateway, and better integration with the central London transport system, for example, through a westwards extension from Bank to Victoria". In a box titled Propsal 15, it mentions "further network extensions, including options south of Lewisham, west of Bank and north of Stratford International".
