Last night I stopped alongside a stabled Overground train at Richmond and noticed what looks like a forward facing camera in the front offside cab window on unit 313 109, is this a one off in the same way as one D stock train has this or or do all these trains have this?

All 313's have been fitted with cctv inside and a forward facing one as well..

Cheers Dazz, I've not noticed this before. I guess it's there for evedence in trespass/ one under incidents?

Correct. I think that TfL paid for the installation...

I think these were installed as early as 2006. Each unit was fitted with 8 new cameras, 2 x internal per coach and one in either cab.
