On the weekly closures email every so often, it says,
Are these works in connection with the new westbound central line platform? If so, can someone please explain why Network Rail get involved? I know that they are responsible for the infrastructure on the other side of the island platform, but this new platform backs on to an LU area (the Jubilee line terminus) doesn't it?

Stratford station has lots of work going on with the upgrade of the network rail platforms etc, some times the central line has to be suspended due to the intrusive nature of the works.

Didn't they put a new bridge over the rail lines - including the Central?

I believe the Central Line closures between Leytonstone & Liverpool St will be starting up again fairly soon.

Starting in October, theres a series of Liv St - Leytonstone and Leytonstone - Hainault works running through to at least the start of the new year!
You also have Marble Arch - Ealing Broadway and West Rui shut one weekend in November!
